This Policy lists business activities that may not use Payvera. It reflects (i) Stripe's restricted-business list, (ii) Romanian law, and (iii) our own risk appetite. We may update it without notice if Stripe or a regulator requires us to.
Prohibited — never permitted
- Activities illegal under Romanian or EU law.
- Online gambling, sports betting, lotteries, or fantasy sports without a valid ONJN licence.
- Cryptocurrency exchanges, mixers, ICOs, NFT marketplaces with anonymous funding.
- Cannabis (THC), CBD products outside permitted EU thresholds, kratom, novel psychoactive substances.
- Adult content, escort services, sex work.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives outside permitted categories.
- Counterfeit goods or trademark/copyright infringement.
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick programmes.
- Pharmacies without a valid licence; prescription drugs sold without prescription.
- Sanctioned persons or entities (EU, UN, OFAC sanctions lists).
- Money services: remittance, cheque cashing, currency exchange, prepaid cards.
High-risk — requires written approval
- Travel agencies, ticketing platforms (high chargeback risk).
- Subscription boxes with free trials longer than 14 days.
- Crowdfunding, donation platforms.
- Health, nutrition, and weight-loss supplements.
- Digital goods with delivery delays over 30 days.

What happens if you breach this Policy
We will suspend or terminate your account, return any pending settlements through Stripe, and report to Stripe (and where required, to Romanian authorities). You remain liable for any chargebacks, fines, or reserve requirements that result.
